2. What IsoMantel is
IsoMantel is a tool for calculating sheet-metal cladding patterns for insulated pipes, bends and ducts, measuring angles, managing jobs and creating PDF files for the workshop. It runs in the browser at isomantel.com and as an app added to the home screen.
3. Who it is for
The app is intended for professionals and businesses working in insulation and sheet-metal cladding. By using it you accept these terms.
4. Fees
IsoMantel is currently free to use and requires no registration. Paid features may be introduced later. We will set out their terms here before they launch, and we will not charge you anything without your explicit consent.
5. Calculation results
IsoMantel supports your work but does not replace professional expertise, design or applicable standards. Results depend on the values you enter. Check dimensions and make a test piece before cutting larger quantities of material. The accuracy of the angle tool and sight mode depends on your device’s sensors and calibration and may vary between phones.
6. Your data on the device
Jobs and photos are stored only on your device. You are responsible for keeping a copy, for example as a PDF. Clearing browser data or removing the app deletes them permanently. See the privacy policy for details.
7. Rules of use
Use the app lawfully. Do not disrupt its operation, circumvent security measures, or copy code or solutions in order to build a competing product.
8. Rights in the app
The app, its code, name and graphics belong to the provider. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. You may use the PDF files and data you create without restriction.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep IsoMantel running without interruption but do not guarantee it. We may develop, change or withdraw features and carry out technical work.
10. Liability
We are liable in accordance with the law for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost material, downtime, or damage resulting from incorrect input or unchecked results. Mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected.
11. Changes to these terms
We will announce changes on the website and in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is the provider’s registered seat. Consumers also retain the protection of the mandatory rules and courts of their country of residence.
